New Australian comedy series drops all episodes online today

The brand-new Australian comedy series ‘Til You Make It has officially launched, with all four episodes now streaming for free on YouTube.

Created by Emma Choy, Philip Hayden and Scott Major, the series follows Mei (Emma Choy) and Tim (Philip Hayden) – two middle-aged, “yet-to-be-discovered” actors doing their best to stay optimistic in a world that’s already moved on. Between acting gigs, dodgy auditions and questionable life choices, ‘Til You Make It offers a hilarious and heartfelt glimpse into the struggle of chasing dreams long past their expiry date.

The series features an ensemble cast across all episodes, including Damian Walsh-Howling (Last King of the Cross), Nadine Garner (The Doctor Blake Mysteries), Menik Gooneratne (Mortal Engines), Kym Valentine (Neighbours), Tilly Legge (The Clearing), Scott Major (Heartbreak High), Amanda LaBonté (Safe Home), Stephen Phillips (Bring Her Back), Jessica Martin (Salt & Vinegar), Candice Leaske (Neighbours), Lansy Feng (Of Course I Speak French), and Francesca Waters (Together).

The series marks a collaboration between some of Melbourne’s most exciting emerging and established creatives. Directed by Scott Major (Darklands, Neighbours, Playing for Keeps), the show blends sharp writing, grounded performances and a distinctly Australian sense of humour.

“We wanted to make something that felt both painfully relatable and laugh-out-loud funny,” said co-creator and star Emma Choy. “Anyone who’s ever tried to make it in this industry – or just make rent – will see themselves in Mei and Tim.”

Co-creator and series writer Philip Hayden added, “It’s a story about the in-between — when you’ve done the grind, but the big break still hasn’t come. It’s about friendship, resilience, and learning to laugh at yourself along the way.”

Produced by Howard Fine Acting Studios, Sugarland Productions, Luna Seven Productions and MajorLookTV, ‘Til You Make It showcases a large cast of Australian talent and an authentic, character-driven comedy style that will resonate with audiences both locally and abroad.

All four episodes of ‘Til You Make It are now streaming on YouTube.
