Saara Lamberg’s Westermarck Effect is to be given a special screening on Thursday May 19 at 4:30pm as part of the festival’s Cinéma des Antipodes section. The film marks Lamberg’s second feature to premiere at Cannes, following her award-winning debut Innuendo in 2018, and is the only female-directed Australian feature film at the festival this year.
