Reading Cinemas Australia, an affiliate of Reading International, Inc. (“Reading”), announced today that it will again be holding the Reading Cinemas National Cinema Day on Sunday September 6th. For the fourth consecutive year the exceptionally popular cinema-going day will run under each brand – Reading Cinemas Australia, and Angelika Cinemas, incorporating the State Cinema in Hobart and Angelika South/City/SQ in Brisbane.

Reading Cinemas is thrilled to announce the return of its National Cinema Day, a nationwide celebration of the Reading Cinema experience. Across all brands, tickets will start at just $5 for Standard sessions; TITAN LUXE tickets will be only $10, and tickets for Gold Lounge and SoHo Lounge will be $15. These promotional ticket prices will apply to all sessions on Sunday September 6. These prices exclude special event screenings, Q&As and similar branded screenings.

“We are excited to again be hosting the Reading Cinemas National Cinema Day” said Mark Douglas, Managing Director of Reading Cinemas Australia. “The event has become a clear fan favourite amongst our very loyal customers, with previous campaigns generating our highest admissions days on record. We are very proud of the role our cinemas play in the local communities in which we operate and love running this annual event. With a fantastic line-up of films on offer across our locations, we can’t wait to see everyone at the movies this Sunday!”

Tickets are now available for a range of films such as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Mutiny, The End of Oak Street, One Night Only, Spa Weekend, Tony, Insidious: Out of the Further and The Dog Stars, along with the return of recent family favourites Minions, Moana and Toy Story 5.

Tickets can be purchased online, via the respective brands apps, or at the cinema Box Office.
