Dark Nights Film Fest is an exciting new celebration of independent horror and dark genre cinema from Australia and around the world, helmed by Bryn Tilly, the former director and programmer of international film festival A Night of Horror.
With a carefully curated program of features paired with international short films, a dedicated Australian short film showcase, a very special cult movie anniversary screening, Q&As with guest filmmakers, and an exclusive movie stall boutique, Dark Nights Film Fest is the perfect weekender for filmmakers and film lovers passionate about horror movies and other dark genres to indulge and rejoice in, offering an important platform for first-time, emerging, and experienced filmmakers.
Full program will be unleashed on Wednesday, September 4th, 7pm, with a special screening of The Tunnel – The Other Side of Darkness, the superb making-of documentary on “the definitive story of the ultimate underground film”, The Tunnel, the Aussie found footage horror movie.
