Travel back in time and experience movies rarely revisited on the big screen! Cinema Nova has invited film critic and author Lee Gambin to present a fresh take on retrospective programming, entitled ‘Retroselective’, to Melbourne audiences commencing this October.
‘Retroselective’ will showcase cinema through a varied lens, delivering classic and cult films and acting as an enlightening and fun “film school” for curious moviegoers and esteemed cinephiles alike! These carefully crafted screenings will feature exclusive showreels, talks and more.
“I can’t wait to share these excellent films of varied genres and time periods for audiences to see up on the big screen at the Nova. Also, I’m excited to bring a bunch of extras that I am super proud to curate such as pre-show reels and lectures that will make the retro-screening experience all the richer!” – Lee Gambin
