Tonight, we were proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Australia’s screen production sector at the 24th Annual SPA Awards, held on the final evening of SCREEN FOREVER 40 on the Gold Coast.
Hosted by Rhys Nicholson, the Awards recognised excellence across production, business and individual contribution categories, celebrating the creativity, ambition and resilience of SPA member businesses across all genres and platforms.
The Media Super Production Business of the Year Award was presented to Jungle Entertainment by the Minister for the Arts, Tony Burke, and Anne Kemp from Media Super, recognising the company’s outstanding leadership, creative ambition and contribution to the Australian screen industry.
We were also proud to honour Susie Jones, Head of Documentary and Specialist at the ABC, as the recipient of the Commissioner of the Year Award, and acclaimed filmmaking duo Nadia Tass and David Parker of Cascade Films with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The SPA Awards are a celebration of the producers, businesses and creative teams who continue to bring Australian stories to audiences here and around the world.
