BINGE today unveiled its 2027 slate, showcasing a bold line-up of highly anticipated Australian Originals, new international series and returning global hits, alongside a major expansion of its long-standing partnership with NBCUniversal.
The announcement comes as BINGE looks ahead to an exciting finish to 2026, with a stellar line-up still to come including DEADLIEST DINNERS, a high-stakes new BINGE Original following extreme adventurer and chef Mario Kalpou as he tackles Australia’s most dangerous terrain and deadliest creatures in pursuit of wild ingredients; the return of acclaimed Australian crime drama HIGH COUNTRY starring Leah Purcell with Brendan Cowell and Ryan Corr; WENTWORTH: HALFWAY HOME, the bold new chapter in the Wentworth universe starring returning fan-favourites Katrina Milosevic, Nicole da Silva, Kate Box, alongside newly announced cast member Rachel Griffiths; blockbuster new reality series APOCALYPSE, narrated by Jonathan LaPaglia; and the three-part Christmas special of THE OTHER BENNET SISTER, returning after its breakout success.
International highlights include YAGA, starring Hudson Williams in a gripping mystery thriller steeped in witch folklore; and DIG, starring comedy heavyweights Amy Poehler and Hugh Laurie as archaeologists on an excavation in Greece.

EXCITING NEW AUSTRALIAN ORIGINALS
In 2027, several compelling new and returning Australian Originals will premiere on BINGE, including:
- TOUGH LOVE, a new comedy created by and starring Rick Donald, alongside acclaimed Australian actress Miranda Otto, Liz Kingsman, Hugo Johnston-Burt and Jay Ryan. Directed by the award-winning team behind Colin from Accounts’ Trent O’Donnell and Madeleine Dyer, the series follows a mother determined to prepare her three very unprepared adult children for life without her.
- THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MELBOURNE returns for a highly anticipated new season, answering years of fan speculation and calls for the iconic series to return. Fan favourite Gina Liano is back, bringing her signature glamour and plenty of drama. New and returning cast members are yet to be announced, with production commencing in 2027.
- SELLING HOUSES AUSTRALIA returns for its 19th season, with beloved hosts Andrew Winter, Wendy Moore and Dennis Scott back to help homeowners transform their properties, tackle renovation challenges and get them market-ready.
- THE MINISTRY OF TIME, the highly anticipated series based on Kaliane Bradley’s bestselling novel of the same name, adapted by Alice Birch (Normal People, The End We Start From, Dead Ringers), with Aneil Karia (Hamlet, The Gold, Surge) serving as the lead director. The series will star Aoife Hinds (Normal People, Dune: Prophecy) as Sophy and Billy Howle (The Perfect Couple, Under the Banner of Heaven) as Commander Graham Gore. The Ministry of Time is a newly established government department gathering ‘expats’ from across history in an experiment to test the viability of time-travel. Our heroine Sophy achieves a hard-fought promotion in the civil service, only to learn that her role is to help a time traveller acclimatise to the modern world as part of a top-secret Ministry programme. Commander Graham Gore is a Victorian polar explorer and one of several ‘expats’ from history who are now part of the Ministry’s extraordinary experiment. The professional friendship between Sophy and Graham develops into an intense forbidden romance that reveals the transporting power of love across centuries, just as the sinister nature of the Ministry’s true intentions increasingly puts them in danger. The six-part series will be co-produced by BINGE, BBC and A24.

BINGE will continue to be home to some of the world’s most anticipated international series, with an exciting slate of new and returning hits coming in 2027 including:
- THE DAY OF THE JACKAL, the global phenomenon that became BINGE’s #1 new series launch of 2024, returns for season two with Academy, Tony, and BAFTA award winning actor, Eddie Redmayne, back as the elusive assassin.
- THE FIVE STAR WEEKEND, with Jennifer Garner returning for season two following the breakout success of the hit drama, which became Peacock’s biggest scripted title ever, with more than one billion minutes watched globally in a single week.
- SWEETPEA returns for season two as Ella Purnell makes a killer comeback as the wallflower-turned-killer Rhiannon Lewis in the iconically brazen and darkly comic thriller.
- TED: THE ANIMATED SERIES, from Seth MacFarlane, is a sequel to the beloved Ted films and picks up 12 years after Ted 2; John and his thunder-buddy Ted are neighbors, both with families of their own and dead-end jobs.
- THE RACHEL INCIDENT, a sharp and hilarious coming-of-age drama about friendship, love and secrets, set against the backdrop of Ireland in 2010.
- MEANTIME, a darkly comic crime thriller starring BAFTA winner James McAvoy as a full-time addict accused of his best friend’s murder who races to clear his name through the murky underbelly of contemporary Glasgow.
- MAYA, a darkly comedic psychological thriller produced by the award-winning Two Brothers Pictures (The Tourist, Fleabag, The Assassin) and written by creator Daisy Haggard, who is making her directorial debut, co-directing the series alongside Jamie Donoughue (Doctor Who, The Last Kingdom). Haggard also stars alongside Bella Ramsey and Tobias Menzies. The series follows a mother and daughter forced into witness protection and relocated to a remote Scottish town, where their new life is threatened by dangerous figures from their past.
- UP TO NO GOOD, a darkly comedic thriller starring Glenn Close as Maud Oldcastle, a woman who is brusque, cantankerous, ruthless — and a killer.
- THE CADBURYS, a sweeping new period drama telling the true story of the Cadbury family and their extraordinary journey from a small family cocoa business to one of the world’s most iconic chocolate brands. Starring Toby Regbo, Harry Gilby and Jessica Barden, the six-part series is inspired by the real-life family and the rivalries, ambition and social change behind the Cadbury legacy.
- SUPERFAKES, a crime drama that follows a small-time Chinatown luxury counterfeit dealer who enters a dangerous black-market underworld in order to fund a life of suburban respectability for her family. The series hails from Emmy-winning creator, writer and showrunner, Alice Ju (Poker Face, Beef), and stars award-winning and critically acclaimed actress Lucy Liu (Rosemead, Presence), who also serves as executive producer. The series is produced by A24 and UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group. Series regulars include Ken Leung (Lost, Industry), cross-cultural musician and rapper Bohan Phoenix making his acting debut, Michelle Jones Lee (Dé) and Keith Leung (I, Chinese). Looking beyond 2027, BINGE has supercharged its long-standing partnership with leading global entertainment studio NBCUniversal, with a landmark long-term extension commencing in 2028.
The expanded partnership will give BINGE and Foxtel subscribers exclusive access to first-run scripted programming from Sky and Universal Studio Group (USG)-produced drama and comedy series for Peacock, in addition to the very latest films from Universal Filmed Entertainment Group following their theatrical and transactional digital releases.
