Madman Entertainment will hold special event preview screenings of the critically acclaimed documentary NAZA on October 11, 2026. The film was awarded the prestigious Special Jury Prize at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival after a record-breaking 25-minute standing ovation. The preview screenings will precede a release in select cinemas on October 15.
NAZA is a ground-breaking new film directed by Israeli journalists and filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, two of the four co-directors of Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land (2024). It is produced by The Guardian and James Wilson (JW Films) and executive produced by Oscar-winning director Jonathan Glazer (The Zone of Interest).
Synopsis: Shot at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, the film reveals in detail the systems behind Israel’s calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
The special event preview screenings, co-presented by The Guardian, on Sunday October 11 will take place at cinemas in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, all followed by moderated panel discussions. Tickets are available here.

NAZA will release in select Australian cinemas on October 15, 2026, after which The Guardian will make the film available to be streamed internationally on its website in late November.
