Austr-Asian follows Mei — a young woman who brings her American boyfriend, Simon, home to meet her Asian-Australian parents… only to discover news that changes everything.
Starring Shuang Hu (Five Blind Dates, The Family Law), Austr-Asian explores the chaos and comedy of navigating family, love, cultural identity, and holiday expectations during Christmas in Brisbane.
The cast includes:
● Peter Sudarso (Power Rangers) as Simon, Mei’s loveable American boyfriend
● Renee Lim (Please Like Me) as Liang, Mei’s traditional yet well-meaning mum
