The Festival will continue to showcase the best of non-fiction cinema from Australia and around the world.
Submissions for the Festival are being accepted through Film Freeway in two categories:
• Feature Documentary Competition which comes with two cash-prizes totalling 10,000 AUD. 7,500 AUD for the ‘Best Feature Documentary Award’ winner and 2,500 AUD for the ‘Special Jury Award’ winner. These prizes are sponsored by Macquarie University”.
• Australian Short Documentary Competition which comes with a 5,000 AUD cash prize, sponsored by the Australian Film Television & Radio School.
Before entering, Festival organisers urge all entrants to review the submission requirements closely, to ensure all entries meet premiere status and broader eligibility requirements. A small submission fee applies.
