Well, we had a hunch this was coming, but now we have official confirmation: M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass will act as a sequel to both 2000’s Unbreakable and last year’s Split, rounding out the trilogy nobody saw coming until Bruce Willis popped up at the end of the latter.

Split brought in $275m worldwide on a $9m budget, making it a terrific hit for Blumhouse, who also produced Shyamalan’s The Visit. That kind of money made a sequel almost inevitable, and the writer/director took to Twitter earlier today to confirm it.

So there you have it. Pretty exciting, huh?
