One of the creators of Seinfeld, Larry David (the inspiration for George) hit a sweet spot with his improvised sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm back in 2000 and with the subsequent 8 seasons of squirmy goodness, playing himself, a wealthy, neurotic New York Jew making life hell for his friends and neighbours in Los Angeles.
With Season 8 ending in 2011/12, the show’s legion of fans can finally celebrate as an air date for Season 9 has been announced by HBO. Most of the usual cast will be back: JB Smoove, Cheryl Hines, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, with Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls) announced for Season 9 (most likely as a romantic interest for the constantly sexual-politics-struggling Larry).
And to celebrate the air date, we also get this teaser to tide us over until October 1, 2017.
