Following on from their well-received The Dream Children, The Hidden Well is an upcoming portmanteau film from Fat Kid Films and director, Robert Chuter. Written by five local writers (Jane Miller, Angus Brown, Alex Broun, and Amanda Miha), the film is comprised of six chapters “…examining the lies and deceit holding modern relationships together.”
Shooting is currently taking place in and around St Kilda, with a cast that includes Michael Maxwell Loder, Jem Nicholas, Tim Quabba, Lee Mason, Phoebe Jakober, Guillym Davenport, Christopher Gaffney, Marie-Clare Anastasia, and Sanshey Pereras.
The Hidden Well has already been picked up by an overseas sales agent and distributor, with a European release penciled in for late 2018. No word of domestic distribution yet, but expect an announcement sooner rather than later.
