Ah, the things you find on the internet – the YouTube account GeorgeCMusic has put up a clip positing what might result if horror maestro (in every sense) John Carpenter had a crack at scoring the venerable BBC SF workhorse, Doctor Who.

Whoever’s behind the account (biographical details are scarce – hmu if you have more info) seems to have a thing for the good Doctor – there’s a whole playlist of different takes on the theme, aping the styles of Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, and more, but if you’ve only got a couple of minutes and need a bit of brilliance in your day, click play on the JC cut.
