There was an absolute dearth of Mad Max: Fury Road merchandise when the movie hit a couple years back – two “Art of” books, some prequel comics of varying quality, and that’ was your lot. We didn’t even get any t-shirts or die-cast models, which strikes us as a missed opportunity as much as an admirable display of restraint.
Well, all that has changed – the dice, as Pig Killer once said, are rolling. EW just reported that Funko are doing a whole range of Fury Road figures, including a line of those adorable dead-eyed Pop! dolls – the Beanie Babies of the 21st century. Check ’em out:

Two versions of Max, with and without garden fork muzzle.
Two Furiosas, in “heavy eyeliner” and “blood of my enemies” variants.
The real hero of the story, Nux – Immortan Joe’s pistol is a nice touch.
Immortan Joe himself, with “sans face” variant.
Capable and the Valkyrie, who don’t get variant editions.
And the Coma Doof Warrior, who will probably outsell the rest by a considerable margin.
That’s your lot for now. there’s also a line of Mystery Minis and Rock Candy figures coming out, but who gives a crap – the big money is on Pop! figures. Hopefully they’ll start mining the earlier movies, too – the world needs a Pop! Gyro Captain now more than ever.
