When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an ancient embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and opens the door to the spirit world. Increasingly haunted by supernatural visions, the friends unwittingly prompt a devastating possession, forcing them to choose who to trust: the dead or the living.
In the lead role is Sophia Wilde (Eden), and the film also stars Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen (Joe vs. Carole, Frayed), Marcus Johnson (The Very Excellent Mr Dundee), Zoe Terakes (Ellie and Abbie) and Otis Dhanji (The Unlisted).
Produced by Causeway Films (The Babadook) and co-written by Danny Philippou and Michael H. Beck (referred to as Bill Hinzman in press release), Talk to Me recently wrapped in Adelaide and will be shopped around by Bankside Films at upcoming Cannes. In Australia, the film will be distributed by Maslow and Umbrella Entertainment.
