Box Office Report: September 21 – 24, 2023
School holidays means PAW Patrol and TMNT top the charts, while Liam Neeson may finally be losing his oomph as an action man, with Retribution punching way below most of his previous films of the genre; but not as weakly as another new release, It Lives Inside, which proves that despite the recent success of horror at the box office (will Talk to Me be #1 Australian film of the year??), not all horror is created equal. And, speaking of equal... finally, Barbie and Oppenheimer have been separated on the charts, with the former charting higher despite a lower screen average (and far shorter running time...).
