Box Office Report: 18 – 21 January 2024
In its fourth week of release, Anyone But You has hit top spot at the local box office, in an overall pretty piss poor result in terms of audience attendance in cinemas across the board. Even though it's set in Australia, the film's success isn't restricted to this territory, with the Sydney Sweeney/Glen Powell starrer one of the biggest romcom hits of the past decade in the US! We can imagine Australian Tourism will be very excited about the result, which will no doubt be reiterated when Ryan Gosling performs stunts on the Harbour Bridge in Fall Guy, released in May. Meanwhile, this weekend saw 3 new releases - The Iron Claw, Priscilla and All of Us Strangers, all slightly left of field but performing respectively.
