“He’s saying things that probably a lot of people have thought but never said,” Barbra Streisand said of Donald Trump to reporter, Michael Usher, on Australia’s 60 Minutes in August. “And in a way, maybe it’s like a blister that has to pop. I hope that’s true. Get it over with, and then let’s come back to sanity. I worry [about a possible Trump presidency.] I don’t take anything for granted. I want Hillary Clinton to be president of the United States, but there’s still a lot of sexism in a woman being president and making fun of her, the way he insults her right and left. He has no facts. I don’t know. I can’t believe it. I’m either coming to your country, if you’ll let me in, or Canada.” Usher responded with a smile. “You’re very welcome,” he responded.
Well, we’re waiting, Babs, we’re waiting…Lena Dunham, Chloe Sevigny, and Neve Campbell might be going to Canada, Samuel L. Jackson’s off to Africa, Chelsea Handler and Amy Schumer are headed to Spain, Cher’s blasting off to Jupiter, Natasha Lyonne’s committing herself to a mental hospital, and Whoopi Goldberg and Miley Cyrus aren’t sure where they’re going…but you said that you’re coming to Australia, La Streisand…and we’re waiting!!
