The glitz and glamour of the TV WEEK Logie Awards returned to Sydney after more than 30 years in Melbourne and more recently the Gold Coast. The Star Sydney hosted the spectacular red carpet, awards ceremony and the exclusive celebrity after party.

Australian TV’s night of nights was hosted by comedian Sam Pang from The Front Bar and Have You Been Paying Attention?, the latter winning Most Popular Comedy Program for the fourth time.

In his opening monologue, Pang roasted a myriad of celebrities including Karl Stefanovic, Osher Günsberg, Hamish Blake, Andy Lee, Julia Morris, Jonathan LaPaglia, and the MAFS cast in attendance. Pang was applauded for his wit, as the roasts continued throughout the night.

Recently passing away, TV industry legend Brian Walsh was inducted into the TV WEEK Logie Awards Hall of Fame. Walsh’s storied career was highlighted on screen as well as tributes from Jason Donovan, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.

Controversially, Sonia Kruger won the Gold Logie for the Most Popular Personality on television after hosting three Channel Seven shows: Big Brother, Dancing with the Stars and The Voice.

Live music performances included Kate Miller-Hedke, Peking Duck (featuring G Flip and Ayesha Madon), and Amy Shark.

The red carpet and Awards ceremony was broadcast live exclusively on Channel 7 and 7plus. The replay is available on 7plus.

Here’s the full list of this year’s winners and nominees.
