An aspiring actress secretly uses a love potion to win the heart of a reality TV star, but when her deception is revealed, she discovers a messy but real chance for love.
Cameras started rolling on Monday, October the 9th, as the film began shooting in and around beautiful Kingfisher Bay Resort and throughout K’gari.
Directed by Tam Sainsbury, it’s her second feature for Fraser Coast Films after directing the psychological thriller, The 13th Summer last year. That film is now finished and due for release in 2024.
Written by Jeremy Stanford, He Loves Me Not is his second feature with the company, also having written The 13th Summer.
He Loves Me Not will shoot until the end of October. Bonsai Films will be the local distributor for the film, and SC Films International will sell it around the world.
The film has a wonderful cast of Australian names, including Rhiannon Fish, Lincoln Lewis, Georgie Parker, Sean Perez, Naomi Sequiera, Bonnie Sveet and Candice Hill.

Writer/Producer Jeremy Stanford has a long history as an actor, performing many lead roles in both TV and on stage. He is also a writer and director and has assembled an impressive list of successes including The 13th Summer. In 2013, he co-wrote and directed his first feature, The Sunset Six.
Editor/Producer William Missett is a sought-after editor both here and in LA working on major film and TV productions including The Simpsons, ICarly, Melrose Place, Burn Notice, Home Alone and most recently La Brea for CBS.
Executive Producer Glen Winney is known widely on the Fraser Coast for his success in the business world, and is also Executive Producer on The 13th Summer.
