The Capital Film Festival is programmed by Andrew Perkin, who has previously had programming roles at the Canberra International Film Festival, the Antenna Film Festival and the Sydney Film Festival. Of the festival he says, “After a turbulent 18-month period, cinema across the globe has finally begun to flicker back to life, and what better way to celebrate this than with launching an International Film Festival! We have searched far and wide for the best Features and Documentaries from around the world. We couldn’t be prouder to be presenting award winners from this year’s Sundance, Berlin and Cannes Film Festivals, as well as a number of outstanding Australian films.”
