But the next time you watch a movie, rather than kicking your feet up and sitting still for two hours, you should use these five tips to make the experience even more fun. Ready to learn and become the ultimate movie connoisseur? Let’s go.

1.    Play games on your phone

Aside from watching movies, do you know what else is entertaining? Playing mobile games, of course.

These two activities are perfect when combined together, especially when you’re watching a boring movie and need some alternate entertainment. If you want to have the most fun possible, you should play online casino games, such as roulette and the classic slot machines.

Are online casinos safe?

Here’s the short and sweet answer: yes. Officially licensed online casinos like spin palace New Zealand are absolutely safe and provide their players with excellent security measures.

2.    Stock up on your favourite drinks and snacks

Watching a movie is automatically made better when you have your favourite drinks and snacks with you. This might be Pepsi and popcorn, or maybe some Coca-Cola and a big bag of sweets. If you’re planning on going on a big movie marathon, you should stock your fridge up with everything you need so that you don’t run out.

The next time you watch a movie at night, give these movie night snacks a try. It’ll feel like you’re in heaven.

3.    Write a review whilst you’re watching

Do you consider yourself to be something of a film expert? If so, you should try your hand at writing a review about the next movie you watch. As the action is unfolding, have your phone (or a pen and paper) with you so that you can make notes about what you like and what you don’t like about the movie. At the end, you’ll be able to pile everything into a review which you can then post online.

Websites like Rotten Tomatoes and Reddit are great for posting movie reviews, but you’ll need to make an account to do this. You could even post your review to YouTube if you would prefer to present your review in video format.

4.    Follow cast members on social media

No matter what movie you watch, it’s highly likely that at least a couple of cast members will catch your attention.

When this happens, you should research them on Google and even follow them on social media. Doing this will give you a better insight into their lives and acting history and will also help you to understand them more as an actor.

5.    Play some music in the background

If you’re not easily distracted, playing some music in the background whilst you watch a movie is another great way to improve the experience. A lot of movies now release their soundtracks on platforms like Spotify, so you could play them in sync with the movie if that’s something that would appeal to you. Just remember to not play your music too loud; otherwise, you won’t be able to hear any of the dialogue.
