In Songbird, COVID-23 has mutated and the world is in its fourth year of lockdown. Nico (KJ Apa) is a courier, who’s immune to the deadly pathogen, who loves Sara (Sofia Carson), though her lockdown prohibits them from physical contact. Bradley Whitford and Demi Moore play a wealthy couple; Alexandra Daddario is a singer enmeshed in a messy affair; Paul Walter Hauser is a disabled veteran; Craig Robinson is Nico’s boss; and Peter Stormare is a corrupt head of the city’s “sanitation” department.
