We love Liam Neeson, even when we don’t love the movies he’s in (the Taken series as a 33% hit ratio now, although Silence is very good). What we really enjoy about the towering, glowering Irishman is his seemingly inexhaustible appetite for taking the mickey out of himself. Previously that was best evidenced by his guest spot on Life’s Too Short with Warwick Davis and Stephen Merchant, but now we have a new contender for the top slot. Neeson showed up on Colbert the other night, auditioning to be a Mall Santa. It’s glorious. And rather terrifying. Check it out.
