Screenworks, Netflix and Screen Tasmania have today announced Isabela Hart as the recipient who will accelerate her screen industry career as part of the Regional Crew Pathways Program – Tasmania 2026. The program is for the first time focusing on unscripted post-production in response to the film and television industry’s demand for Australians skilled in this area.
The initiative will see Isabela Hart from Glenorchy, Hobart placed at The Post Lounge for the next five months where she will receive industry training in post-production, plus develop skills and networks to kick-start her professional career. She will be working predominantly on local documentary series ‘The Animal Sanctuary’.

The 2026 recipient was selected from a group of 16 Tasmania-based participants who were chosen from a broader pool of applicants to participate in a post-production onboarding course in Hobart in May. The group received industry-leading training delivered by the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS).
Manager of Screen Tasmania, Alex Sangston, said , “Screen Tasmania is thrilled with the success of the 2026 Regional Crew Pathways Program in Tasmania, and the opportunity it has provided for 16 Tasmanians to undertake the onboarding course. We are focused on growing post-production capacity in Tasmania, so for Isabela to be chosen to undertake five months of on-the-job training through The Post Lounge is extremely beneficial to our local industry. We are thankful to Netflix, AFTRS and Screenworks for working with us on this vital program, and to The Post Lounge for hosting Isabela.”
Isabela is an emerging Tasmanian creative with a strong interest in post-production and screen storytelling. She is passionate about learning industry workflows and processes and building hands-on industry experience within the post-production space in the screen sector.
Isabela Hart said, “It’s such a wonderful opportunity being picked for this placement by Screenworks, and a very exciting time for me personally. I’ve always dreamed of working on bigger productions and to be part of the wonderful puzzle that is post-production. I can’t wait to be part of it and support these projects and the Tasmanian film industry.”
