Remember that old story about Jonah and the whale? Well, check this one out! While the CGI might be a bit ropey, there’s an undeniable sense of pure terror in the underwater horror thriller Whalefall, the latest effort from writer/director Brian Duffield (No One Will Save You, Spontaneous), in which a lone diver (up and comer Austin Abrams) is, yep, swallowed whole by a sperm whale. With only one hour of oxygen left in his tank, how will he get out of this big thing’s guts? Josh Brolin and Elisabeth Shue also star.
