Australian-Chilean actor Jaime Ureta is making waves in the entertainment industry, bringing authenticity, passion, and cultural representation to both local and global audiences. With a string of major projects under his belt and an unwavering commitment to storytelling, Ureta continues to carve a unique path in film, television, and theatre.

Represented by CBM Management, Ureta’s career is defined by his dedication to the craft. He trained at Sydney’s prestigious Screenwise and further honed his skills through the Fernando González Institute in South America. Working with renowned acting coaches Les Chantery and Kim Farrant has refined his approach, allowing him to bring depth and nuance to every role he takes on.

Ureta has taken on significant roles in high-profile productions, showcasing his versatility and talent across film, television, and theatre. He portrayed Marco in Netflix’s The Survivors, a dynamic and pivotal character in a gripping drama series that aired in Chile and was featured in the Top 30 Most Watched Netflix Shows in the World by The New York Times. Netflix also celebrated the milestone via Instagram. He took on the intense and challenging role of Tomas in Amazon’s Play Dirty, starring opposite Mark Wahlberg under the direction of Shane Black, which officially aired on Prime Video on October 1, 2025.

Ureta also had a featured role in Amazon’s Balls Up, a collaboration with Academy Award-winning director Peter Farrelly, and is set to appear in Place To Be, starring Pamela Anderson, Taika Waititi, and Ellen Burstyn, directed by Kornél Mundruczó (Variety, IMDb). His portrayal of Felipe in Here Out West contributed to a powerful narrative on cultural inclusivity, premiering at the Sydney Film Festival. On stage, Ureta’s performance in The Wider Earth was a standout, culminating in a career-defining moment at the Sydney Opera House.

Ureta’s passion extends beyond acting; his goal is to champion Latin representation in Australian media.
