Exploring Artificial Intelligence and Creativity in Video, Music and Podcasting
Content AI, the conference and film festival focusing on generative artificial intelligence in content creation, is delighted to announce the participation of Matrix Trilogy VFX pioneer, John Gaeta, in a remote fireside chat to keynote the event.
Recipient of Academy, BAFTA and multiple Visual Effects Society Awards, John Gaeta helped redefine VFX as part of the team behind The Matrix and its sequels. In recent years, he has moved from an imagined machine world to a “real” one in the form of generative video and the establishment of escape.ai, an online showcase for AI, real-time and other alternative video formats and creators.
“Escape, essentially, is a hybrid of a Netflix and a YouTube type of a model,” says Gaeta, “but despite looking mainstream on its face, is really for radical experimental entertainment. Not just Gen AI. People may use game engines, virtual production, all of these emerging techniques.”
Scheduled for Tuesday August 5, 2025, from 1pm to 7pm at the NSW Teachers Federation Centre, located near Sydney’s Central Station, Content AI will also feature expert speakers from Adobe, creative agency Thinkerbell, Avid Technology and the Nine Network, among others.
