Underdog Film Festival (UDFF), Logan City’s first independent film festival, is now open for its next season of short film submissions. Returning to South-east Queensland in September 2026, the festival promises an expanded program featuring an exciting lineup of short films alongside a dynamic schedule of industry talks and workshops.

In addition to film screenings, audiences can engage with filmmakers and industry professionals through Q&As, panel discussions, networking opportunities, workshops, and special events designed to connect and inspire emerging Australian filmmakers.

Submissions are open via FilmFreeway until 1 June 2026. Filmmakers are encouraged to submit their work for the opportunity to showcase their films and compete for top prizes at one of Queensland’s fastest-growing short film festivals.
