It’s an almost universal experience: that moment where you look around at your inevitably messy life and wonder why it doesn’t look like the brochure. Know that feeling? Thirty understands.
As the synopsis reads, “Childhood mates Charlie, Anna and Bianca reconnect with Dalia, who has fallen off the grid after having a baby and moving to the suburbs. Together they navigate the peaks and pitfalls of love, work, family, sex and friendship. Thirty is about four real, diverse women in Sydney, stumbling through their early thirties and trying to get their shit together.”
Written by Tricia-Lyn Morisin, directed by Leah Pellinkhof (Kenosis Kiss, Chook And Maureen), and starring Madeline Beukers, Sarah de Possesse (Starting From… Now), Alison McGirr and Prudence Holloway, the first of Thirty’s six ten-minute episodes drops on Tuesday, May 23. Keep track on the official site or the series YouTube Channel.
