Directed by David Anspaugh, the movie stars Sean Astin, Charles S. Dutton, Ned Beatty, and Robert Prosky. Rudy follows young Daniel E. Ruettiger, nicknamed Rudy, who wants to play college football even though everybody told him he cannot succeed. Determined to prove everyone wrong, Rudy continues chasing his dreams and eventually finds his place among football players at the University of Notre Dame.
