Trailer: Henry’s First Dates

The charming and bittersweet 2004 romantic comedy 50 First Dates is one of the most underrated in the Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore canon, and the Thai-based filmmakers behind the new flick Henry’s First Dates obviously know it! So much so that they’ve gender-swapped it, this time with Nadech Kugimiya as the eponymous perpetual amnesiac, who wakes up each day with no knowledge of what happened to him on the day before. Pop singer and actress Minnie (nee Nicha Yontararak) from the K-pop group (G)I-DLE plays the young woman who embarks on a relationship with Henry. This looks cute! Henry’s First Dates releases in Australian cinemas on October 22.
