Bio
Chris Schwager has been telling stories on camera since he was a teenager. In the 1980s, armed with a VHS camera, he shot and edited his first real production – a high school video – which he sold 100 copies to his schoolmates at fifteen dollars a tape. The trajectory was set.
By his mid-twenties, he founded Ridge Films, chasing his love of cinema through short films and documentaries while learning, the hard way, how to run a business. Over the years that followed, he built it into one of Australia’s highest-rated video production companies.
Somewhere along the way, Chris noticed a pattern. The people with the most worth saying were often the ones who froze when a camera turned their way, not from a lack of talent, but from overwhelm. Too much gear, too many decisions, no system. So, they stayed invisible.
That became his work. Today, Chris helps coaches and consultants show up with clarity, confidence, and a studio setup that positions them as the authority.
