With entries in the thousands, Raindance is widely accepted as one of the most important platforms for filmmaker discovery in the world.

“We’re excited by how our film has evolved from a few actors and filmmakers running around in the bush to a full-fledged feature with a soon to be audience; we couldn’t be more proud of where the film is going’.” – Matt & Rupert.
Filmed with a small, dedicated cast and crew of movie action buffs, the revenge plot of Bloodlust jumps off the screen and grabs you from its first moments. It pulls no punches with its depiction of a dystopian forest wasteland and the savage survivors who populate this new oppressive and dangerous world. Matt and Rupert’s excursion into this post-apocalyptic environment is dramatic and violent. The narrative is conveyed through superbly choreographed and cinematic fight sequences with a level of authenticity that creates visceral tension.
The film stars a talented bunch of newcomers including; Ronald Mackinnon as the vengeful drifter Keith, Jocelyn Lambourne plays Keith’s angel-voiced partner & Liam Moloney as Uncle, charismatic leader of a band of fierce survivors. Strong on story but pared back and told predominantly through action, Bloodlust is gripping, action-packed and a thrill for the senses!
It is anticipated that Bloodlust will have its Australian cinema run later in 2026 with filmmaker veteran Marc Gracie acting as Bloodlust’s Executive Producer presently in discussion with local distributors.
