Melbourne Nocturnal Film Festival (MNFF) is an offbeat film festival for weirdos! This annual festival celebrates weird and wonderfully offbeat short films, created by Australian filmmakers. For the 4th edition, MNFF presents 2 days of film screenings and events right in the heart of Footscray from Feb 28 – Mar 1 2026.
MNFF transforms the iconic Bluestone Church Arts Space into a film festival hub. The 2026 programme features Australian-made shorts films in 4 curated screening sessions, with filmmaker Q&As, and awards and prizes up for grabs – sponsored by local businesses.
Join us for STRANGE ENCOUNTERS to kick off the festival, get spooked at THE HORRORS, watch unhinged comedy shorts at FUNNY WEIRD, or contemplate the apocalypse at THE END TIMES. Tickets for all screenings are on sale on now.
