Screening at Sundance and SXSW, Alex Thompson and Kelly O’Sullivan’s humorous film is about a construction worker, who unexpectedly joins a local theater’s production of Romeo and Juliet, and the drama onstage starts to mirror his own life.
Cast with an actually real-life family as the protagonists, and with the scene stealing Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness) in support, GHOSTLIGHT is “a complicated, emotionally honest film with a lot of heart …” according to FilmInk’s own review.
