Stan’s Preacher Gets One Last Trailer Before Season 3 Hits

June 22, 2018
It's the time of the preacher... again.

Season three of Stan’s bloody and profane supernatural dramedy Preacher premieres this Monday, June 25, the same day that our friends Stateside will also be getting the further adventures of the Reverend Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) and company as they search for an absentee God, leaving corpses and depravity in their wake.

“In Season Three,” the presser tells us. “Jesse Custer’s quest for God takes him back to the place he’s been avoiding his whole life: home. Jesse, Tulip (ruth Negga), and Cassidy (Joespeh Gilgun) return to Angelville, the Louisiana Plantation where Jesse was raised, and find old grudges and deadly obligations await them. With the help of his friends — and a few enemies — Jesse will need to escape his past… because the future of the world depends on it.”

Ian Coletti, Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett co-star, along with new series regulars Betty Buckley (Supergirl, Split) and Colin Cunningham (Blood Drive, Falling Skies). Jeremy Childs (The Last Castle, Nashville), Liz McGreever (Star, Nashville), Jonny Coyne (Turn, Alcatraz), Adam Croasdell (Reign) and Prema Cruz (Mozart in the Jungle) are recurring guest stars.

Preacher is, of course, adapted from the great comic by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, developed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Sausage Party, This is the End, Superbad) and showrunner Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad), and you should really read those books, team.
