Today however, highlights a completely different opinion entirely. Robert, for the past 10 years, has worked hard to rebuild his acting image, across various roles and characters. With the many roles that he has committed himself to, after his Batman lead performance, Rob has actual Oscar buzz for the future, can you believe it? Even if he was told of the progression he would make as an actor, during the days of Harry Potter and Twilight, he probably wouldn’t actually believe it either. Now however, after his creative attack on the role of Batman, people are stating that Robert Pattinson could be the best Batman of all time.
Robert Pattinson’s performance was so profound, many gambling CSGO Case Sites are setting their promotions and incentives, using the latest Batman, as its leading inspiration to reel Batman and fellow DC fans in. From a marketing standpoint, that is pretty genius, isn’t it? The response in his favour has been overwhelmingly positive. Are they just old Twilight fangirls that were ultimately always team Edward, or is this an actual representation of his amazing progression as an actor? Let’s dive deeper.
With many Batman instalments over the years, it is safe to say that the top favourite acting performances of all time have come from Christian Bale’s trilogy. If Twitter was used to dictate the best acting performances now though, Bale and his large suit need to take a step down from the podium of acting superiority, as to many, Pattinson’s attack on the role now takes the lead.
Critics believe that not only is Pattinson’s acting first-class, the overall creative direction, in addition to the superhero story telling used, is some of the strongest we have ever seen. Pair this up with the amazing underlying soundtracks and side-kick action coming from Zoë Kravitz, and the movie just kicks ass.
Many would believe that the movie is quite gritty and dark throughout, but generally Gotham is portrayed within DC in a similar light, so the creative direction of the movie is trying to integrate that authentically, from music, ambience, and characters. The chemistry between Pattinson and Kravitz is largely applauded by the fan community. It seems Zoë really did highlight a true feminine feline essence to her role, whereas Robert’s cold exterior was right on the money. He reflected the traumas of Bruce’s past, without question. For an interview with GQ, Pattinson wanted to highlight that his take on the role really surpasses typical instalments of the past, which go into the death of Bruce Wayne’s parents. He wanted to bring to a role, a heavy burden in which he carried and reflected the trauma to his character, without having to ever showcase scenes of a reaction physically, to the deaths of his character’s loved ones. This in itself is why many applaud Robert for his acting efforts.
While there was some concern for Robert’s physical contributions to the role, Pattinson made it clear in previous roles that he would not be putting on weight for the role, but rather getting more physically in shape. Having suffered from body dysmorphia, the Batman role presented Rob with a new challenge, one which he wanted to make sure would not consume his acting goals and well-being. While it did share disappointment for many hardcore fans, the movie direction really allowed Rob to gain that physicality and size through clever filming angles and techniques. Not forgetting to mention that the suit added large size and superiority to the role. Nevertheless, Robert showed up in all glory and combat action, meaning there should be no reason that viewers would turn their nose up to Pattinson’s obviously leaner frame. This is a new representation and perspective to the world of DC and being seriously chiselled and huge should not dictate whether Pattinson is a great actor or not.
Nevertheless, if you have not made your way down to the movie theatres yet, The Batman has been out for over three weeks and counting. Make your own decision for yourself.
Totally correct. As a die hard fan of the character, I never thought I’d see someone so accurately depict the character in the most respectful and accurate but also most reality based believability at the same time. And I def never thought anyone would surpass Keaton, the best Batman up until this point. Or Bale, the best Bruce up until this point. But the twilight kid ended up surpassing both. Dare I say easily in fact.
