Locations including Fountain Gate, Southland, Doncaster, Crown, Airport West and Plenty Valley will open their doors next week and join the already operational locations including Coburg Drive In, Werribee, Karingal, Geelong, Morwell, Shepparton, Bendigo, Warrnambool and four Tasmanian Village Cinemas locations, Hobart, Eastlands, Glenorchy and Launceston.
Village Entertainment CEO, Kirk Edwards, is thrilled to be able to bring movies back to the big screen sooner than expected.
“We were so thrilled with the support that we received from our customers and loyal Vrewards members after the announcements of further restrictions being imposed. We are very grateful and looking forward to welcoming everyone back into the world of movies next week.”
Village Cinemas will be playing a number of recently released films such as The Invisible Man, Bloodshot and Bad Boys for Life, as well as family classics including Sonic The Hedgehog and Jumanji: The Next Level. Tickets will be available from Tuesday June 30th.
Further announcements on the remaining location opening dates are due within days. Village Entertainment continues to follow the advice and requirements of both Federal and State governments to ensure movie lovers are provided a safe and quality social experience.
