Tracy feature written by Cassandra Leopold, Derek Erskine and Naomi Lisner is in its final stages of filming.
To raise money for one of the largest shoot-out scenes in independent film producers Lisner and Erskine organised a fundraiser at local restaurant Limors owned by Yoram Malka. Erskine being an acclaimed artist auctioned off lots of his artwork at greatly reduced prices. Lisner even talked some of the male cast members to take part in an all male revue. The evening was a huge success and they hope they won’t have to go to such lengths when they make the sequel which is planned for 2018.
Lisner has a long history of working with veteran armourer John Fox who will be preparing all the actors and crew a week before shooting. In light of the recent tragedy on set in Queensland we want everyone to feel confident and safe.
Tracy is a psychological thriller set in Melbourne. It is about a drug and alcohol fuelled psychotic rampage by a married couple living in the suburbs trying to raise a daughter. When obsessive love drives their erotic fantasies that manifest in brutal realities they hunt down their victims. Lisner describes Tracy as dark , compelling and edgy with wit.
Tracy stars Cassandra Leopold, Derek Erskine, Chloe Guymer, Vanessa Moltzen and Ben Rose.
