Success for L’Chaim
Last year, Lisner’s Hannah Rosenthal screened and won a prize at the Girona film festival and this year she returned with L’Chaim which made its world premiere. Don Bridges and his wife Judy came to the festival, after Lisner had told them how fabulous it is. The festival run by LLUIS Valenti lived up to its reputation for world class hospitality.
The story is set in WW2 and tells the story of a Jewish woman hiding in the forest. The cast includes Naomi Lisner as Aviva, who also wrote and directed, Derek Erskine, Don Bridges and Gadi Kolsky. Derek Erskine who plays Bridges’ son stayed behind to keep working on his feature Heart Of Fury.
While awaiting the flight back home Lisner has been in talks with her distribution company. They have more plans for Hannah Rosenthal and is thrilled to announce that they will be representing L’Chaim as well with world wide distribution. Since the festival there has been another edit with plans to turn it into a feature in the future.
