Classic Australian film Don’s Party will have a rare pre-election outing at Australian Revelations on Tuesday 28 June. The winner of six AFI Awards, including Best Director, Best Actress and Best Screenplay, Don’s Party is set on election night 1969 as a group of friends come together for cheese and wine in what turns out to be an unintended night of truth and dare. ‘90s teen comedy Shan and Kate will have its world premiere at the Palm Springs International ShortFest this month. Shan and Kate was written and directed by Zoë Rae and based on a short story by Bronte Rose Jovevski, who also produced the film. REC Ya Shorts Youth Film Festival has kicked off its second year, now covering six Local Government Areas in the Mid North Coast!
