The highly anticpated Chinese/Australian adventure Guardians of the Tomb, will hitting the big screen on February 1, 2018 through Eagle Entertainment. Fans of rollicking monster pictures can check it out in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, ahead of its June home release.
Directed by Kimble Rendall (Bait 3D) and starring Li Bingbing (Transformers: Age of Extinction, Resident Evil: Retribution), Kellan Lutz (Twilight series, Tarzan), Kelsey Grammer (Toy Story 2, The Expendables 3, Transformers: Age of Extinction), Shane Jacobson (Kenny, The Dressmaker), Stef Dawson (The Hunger Games) and Chinese pop star and actor Wu Chun (14 Blades, Magic to Win), the film sees a mixed bag of scientists and adventurers exploring the tomb of an ancient Chinese emperor before running afoul of the eponymous guardians – thousands of hungry, lethal funnel web spiders.
Judging from the trailer, Grammer knows what kind of movie he’s in and has pitched his performance accordingly. If everyone else is bringing the same sense of fun, this one should be a good time.
