Debuting at San Diego’s Comic-Con, the trailer for Glass has dropped online and has got us all sorts of excited.
It all started with Shyamalan’s disappointing box office performer Unbreakable back in 2000, with Bruce Willis’ David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson’s Elijah Price. Ahead of its time, the film garnered a strong cult following over the years, and got fans into a frenzy when 2016’s multiple personality thriller Split, starring James McAvoy, hinted that it was the second part of a trilogy. And now in January 2018, we have Glass, the trailer kicking off like some sort of Silence of the Lambs, with Sarah Paulson’s psychiatrist interrogating the three characters about their potential delusions of superhero prowess.
It all looks great, and like the original Unbreakable, an actual thinking person’s superhero movie.
