Get the Tissues Handy, it’s the Goodbye Christopher Robin Trailer

August 15, 2017
Oh bother.

Echoing Marc Forster’s Finding Neverland, here’s yet another heartstring-tugging look at the birth of a perennial favourite of children’s literature – in this case Winnie the Pooh.

Domhnall Gleeson is AA Milne, struggling to get over the horrors of the First World War and finding solace in the invention of the Hundred Acre Woods and its inhabitants, all based on the toys of his young son, Christopher Robin (Will Tilston).

Margot Robbie and Kelly Macdonald round out the key cast and Simon Curtis (Woman in Gold), who knows a thing or two about summoning tears to the eyes of movie-goers, is on directing duties. Goodbye Christopher Robin is in Australian cinemas from November 23, 2017.
