Black Mirror Season 4 Gets a Final Trailer and a Release Date

December 7, 2017
Charlie Brooker is gonna creep up the holiday season.

December 29 – mark it in your… well, your Google calendar or whatever, to keep with the techno-terror theme that permeates Black Mirror. That’s when season 4 of the universally acclaimed anthology series hits.

Featuring contributions from a host of top notch directors, including Jodie Foster, Toby Haynes, John Hillcoat, Colm McCarthy, Tim Van Patten and David Slade, and honchoed as usual by media commentator Charlie Brooker, this year’s Black Mirror will continue to delve into the uncharted territory on the fringes of modern media, exploring a landscape 20 minutes into the future where identity, autonomy, personhood, and our very souls, if such things exist, are threatened by the inexorable march of progress through the digital panopticon.

Jesse Plemons, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jimmi Simpson, Cristin Milioti, Aldis Hodge, Maxine Peake, Andrea Riseborough, Letitia Wright and Michaela Coel are our guides this season and, as ever, you can find the whole shebang on Netflix. In the meantime, enjoy the latest trailer.
