If you missed the first three seasons of this chop-shop extravaganza, season four is really more of the same. Hosted by Ex-Mr. Sandra Bullock Jesse James, the show follows a team of experts as they attempt to build the impossible on a shoestring budget. With projects like the armoured car dunk tank, drag strip Beetle and mobile milking milk float, Monster Garage creates the most entertainingly impractical vehicles to ever hit the streets.
But like the other seasons, season four proves to be a little hit and miss based on the crews they assemble. Some are entertaining while others are downright dull, unless you find endless discussions about flat pan heads and welding techniques particularly exciting.
Produced by Thom Beers, Monster Garage lacks the cohesion of other reality shows like American Chopper and Deadliest Catch, but is still worth a casual watch.
