FILMINK rates DVDs and Blu-rays out of 5“...an onerous chore to sit through.”

Panna Riitikrai is a legendary exponent of the martial art of Muay Thai and the man responsible for training Ong Bak star Tony Jaa. As a martial artist and stuntman he is amongst some of the best in the world, but his skill as a director leaves a little to be desired.
The tedious and predictable plot sees a group of friends enter a stunt competition and win the prize of a chance to work in a Hollywood film. Not all is as it seems, however, as one of their team is kidnapped and it is revealed that they are part of a twisted reality TV show where they must fight for their lives.
The non-existent script and hopeless acting make the film an onerous chore to sit through. The fight choreography is good in parts but not strong enough to make up for a film that is so poorly executed.
Rittikrai has genuine talent as an action coordinator but with this his tenth film as director, he should knock out far better product than this drivel.
