FILMINK rates DVDs and Blu-rays out of 5"...played out in true Z grade style with laughably poor CGI, atrocious acting and some of the worst dialogue ever uttered."

From the studio that brought you 2012: Ice Age, Transmorphers and Titanic II, Almighty Thor is yet another cheap blockbuster TV adaptation courtesy of Global Asylum Studios. And so the particularly overfamiliar story of the petulant Thor (Cody Deal) and his quest to retrieve the Hammer of Invincibility from the demon Loki (Richard Grieco) is played out in true Z grade style with laughably poor CGI, atrocious acting and some of the worst dialogue ever uttered. Add to this props that look like they were won at a county fair and the fact that Richard Grieco looks unnervingly like a Gary Numan impersonator, and you've got possibly the worst film Global Asylum have put out so far. And that's really saying something. If film is art then Almighty Thor is the equivalent of finger painting and an almighty waste of eighty-eight minutes of your life.
